For the launch of Very Good Girl, the new version of their fragrance with the iconic stiletto-shaped bottle, Carolina Herrera called on the expertise of Italian glassmaker Bormioli Luigi.

For this new incarnation, the brand wanted a brilliant red inner lacquering, which turned out to be a real challenge given the particularly complex shape of the glass bottle.

Due to the asymmetric shape of the bottle, the challenge was to obtain the same covering in every part of the shoe, including the various corners and the extremity,” explained Bormioli Luigi.

Several tests were required to optimize the process and achieve a perfectly harmonious decoration on the two capacities of the bottle (50 and 80 ml) produced by Bormioli Luigi.

Dubbed INSIDE, Bormioli Luigi’s patented inner lacquering process enables to highlight all the depth, shine and thickness effects of the glass.

For this project, Bormioli Luigi also achieved the gold screen printing of the brand’s logo on the outside of the bottle.
